Most of us have had a burn at some time in our lives. Even a small burn causes pain. Thankfully, most burns are small. Whether a burn is small or bigger, the goals of treatment are the same:
FORM
- to restore as much as possible the appearance (contour, texture and colour) of the area with burned skin
FUNCTION - to recover as much as possible all the functions of the damaged area.
FEELING - to reintegrate the people who suffered burns in society and to help them to deal with psychological trauma from this injury.
