Welsh Dragon Burns Club Patrons

Mr Bill Dickson M.B.E.

Mr. W A Dickson is the Director of the Welsh Center for Burns and Plastic Surgery and he has agreed to become the honorary patron of the Welsh Dragon Burns Club. Everyone who knows Mr. Dickson can tell you about his dedication to the recovery of burn survivors. Mr. Dickson originates from Edinburgh and he graduated from medical school in 1974. He has worked with some of the most famous burn surgeons and has been involved in major burn incidents notably the Piper Alpha explosion and the Bradford City F.C fire. He was appointment consultant at the unit in Chepstow in 1990.

Mr Dickson's outside interests are sailing, walking and he is also a keen motorcyclist.
